As a Sales Intern plays a key role in supporting a company’s sales team, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication. Your primary responsibility will be to manage administrative and support tasks to help the sales team achieve its targets.

Your tasks

1. Administrative Support:

• Prepare and support sales-related documents (e.g., quotations, orders, contracts) in the current Krones system landscape, taking into account country and customer specifics

• Maintain and update customer databases and CRM systems.

• Organize and schedule sales meetings & presentations.

• Support Sales Coordinator to process Sales orders in the ERP system.  

2. Communication:

• Serve as the point of contact for customers regarding sales inquiries, updates, and complaints. (the intern can’t be the main point of contact to the customer)

• Liaise between the local & regional sales team, customers, and internal departments to ensure clear communication and efficient processes.  

3. Reporting:

• Support the team to Prepare and present sales reports, performance metrics, and forecasts.

• Support in Monitoring sales data and provide insights to improve team efficiency.  

4. Customer Relationship Management:

• Support the sales team in building and maintaining strong customer relationships. the intern can’t be the main point of contact to the customer)

• Follow up on customers on open quotations, outstanding issues, or potential upselling opportunities.    

Your profile

• Education: Bachelor’s degree 

• Experience: 2-3 years of experience in sales coordination, customer service, or a similar role. 

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office and CRM software.

• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

• Excellent time management, communication, and negotiation skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

• Team-oriented and proactive.

• Customer-focused and empathetic.

• Strong analytical mindset and adaptability.
